Mental health is an integral part of physical health and overall well-being. Recognizing the importance of emotional balance helps develop coping tools and eases daily functioning.
During times of emotional upheaval, stress, or worry, many people experience distress or emotional difficulties that may affect their quality of life and, at times, their ability to function.
Emotional therapy from home is intended for teens, women, and men who are dealing with various emotional and mental health challenges and are not currently undergoing a series of mental health treatments.
It is recommended to be in a private, quiet space, ensure a stable internet connection, and make sure you can speak freely without interruptions or distractions.
As with any session with medical or mental health professionals, summaries of the sessions will be documented in your medical file.
If you or your child are experiencing a severe mental health crisis accompanied by suicidal thoughts and/or a risk to yourself or others, it is crucial to immediately go to the psychiatric emergency room in your area, which is open 24/7. No referral or pre-authorization is needed.
You may also go to a hospital emergency room after receiving a referral.

At Leumit’s clinics and medical centers, multidisciplinary teams provide care, including psychiatrists, psychologists, clinical social workers, art therapists, mental health nurses, occupational therapists, dietitians, and more.
Treatment begins with an initial assessment (intake session), followed by a tailored treatment plan created together with the client based on their needs.
