When treating minors

Treatment of minors will only be done after the parents, including a step-parent, adoptive parent, guardian or whoever has the minor in their custody or supervision as detailed in the Youth Law (treatment and supervision) have signed a consent form for receiving treatment.
In the case of a minor whose parents do not live in the same house or are divorced, both parents must sign a confirmation and consent to diagnosis and treatment.
If it is not possible to obtain a parent's signature, a telephone consent can be temporarily sufficient, documenting the time of the call, the parent's name and the telephone number where the consent was received.
In cases of a parent's objection to the treatment and the care provider thinks that the treatment is required or necessary, the welfare services in charge of the matter should be contacted.

Your kids and the security situation

Dealing with the security situation in Israel is a challenging task for adults and certainly for children. In today's era, where exposure to news is everywhere and available to everyone, children are exposed to reality at a young age and it is important to open a channel of communication between the child and the parent.
Children of different ages are in a different range of psychological development. The older and more mature the child is, the more exposed they are to the information around them. At the same time, it is likely that the anxiety that takes place inside most homes also permeates children of all ages, with high intensity.

Eating Disorders

Many people sometimes feel that they are not satisfied with their weight, but when talking about eating disorders, the dose of these feelings throughout the day is much increased - and becomes very central in everyday life, to the point of dealing with them almost exclusively. In addition, the body will not receive its nutritional needs.
At the center of the disorder is the mental distress it causes, accompanied by nutritional damage.

Eating Disorders, Body Image, and Their Impact on Mental Health

The eating patterns of children tend to differ from those of adults. They may be picky, or refuse to eat new foods, go for long periods without eating or forget to eat altogether, and many other behaviors. While sometimes this is a transient phase, at other times, the limited variety of foods children consume may result from an eating disorder, leading to real nutritional deficiencies.
