The institute conducts clinical and data research and collaborates with pharmaceutical and startup companies through the Leumit Start innovation unit, academic and medical institutions in various fields, including epidemiology and public health, telemedicine, personalized medicine, medical innovation using big data and artificial intelligence, and clinical research on medications, medical devices, and laboratory samples.
The research institute provides supportive infrastructure for researchers and research projects, helping submit research documents for Helsinki Committee (IRB) approval, statistical consulting, and accompanying teams at research sites.
Additionally, the research institute offers a virtual research room that allows secure access to anonymized data, ensuring the confidentiality of medical information and the privacy of insured individuals (some services are fee-based).
Researchers at the institute are available for consultation on research planning and feasibility studies and to use the MDclone® platform before submitting it to the research committee and the Helsinki Committee (IRB).
