Life expectancy in the Western world is steadily increasing, which also extends the lifespan of nursing care patients. The cost of care for a nursing patient can amount to thousands of shekels per month, and the coverage provided by state institutions is often insufficient. In many cases, the financial burden falls heavily on family members, sometimes for many years.
Life expectancy in the Western world is steadily increasing — and with it, the duration of long-term care for dependent patients.
Caring for a dependent (nursing) patient can cost thousands of shekels per month, while the support provided by state institutions is often insufficient. As a result, the financial burden often falls heavily on the patient’s family — sometimes for many years.
"Leumit Long Term Care" is an insurance policy provided through Menora Mivtachim. It offers coverage that allows you to focus on the patient’s well-being and rehabilitation. In the event that you or a loved one becomes dependent, the policy ensures financial assistance that enables access to appropriate and compassionate care.
In addition, Menora provides a dedicated personal case manager — a professionally trained social worker — to guide and support insured members and their families in navigating their rights and benefits with various institutions and authorities.

That’s why it’s best to enroll early — while you and your family are healthy.
This policy does not cover only old-age situations: long-term care events can also occur at younger ages.
