Physical Activity Workshop for Women in Menopause

The physical activity workshop for women in menopause is designed for women aged 45 to 65. It is based on the understanding that regular exercise helps alleviate menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes, decreased bone mass, restlessness, and fatigue.

Physical activity during menopause balances estrogen levels and helps regulate metabolic rate, supporting weight management.

The workshop includes 10 weekly sessions, led by a certified fitness instructor, at a total cost of 200 NIS.

Yoga Workshop

Research shows that yoga is effective in treating and preventing various diseases. Yoga improves flexibility, stretches muscles, and releases joint stiffness, helping to relieve pain in joints and muscles. It also supports weight loss, strengthens the back, and stabilizes the body, preventing blockages and joint degeneration.

Additionally, yoga improves posture and maintains flexibility, builds bone mass and helps prevent osteoporosis, enhances blood circulation, supports the function of internal organs and tissues, strengthens the immune system, aids in disease prevention, lowers blood pressure, and more.

Regular physical activity improves heart muscle function and various health indicators such as weight, blood pressure, cholesterol levels, and more. Exercise helps with recovery, promotes a gradual return to daily activities, and reduces the risk of future events.

The workshop includes 10 biweekly sessions, led by a certified fitness instructor specializing in cardiac rehabilitation. Participation in the workshop allows for a gradual, tailored fitness program in a safe and supervised environment following hospitalization and the individual's health condition.

A supportive group that promotes and maintains a healthy lifestyle, encouraging physical activity, balanced nutrition, counseling, and guidance tailored to the unique needs of this age group.

Physical Activity Workshop for New Moms and Moms-to-be

This workshop is designed for pregnant women and women up to one year postpartum and includes 10 biweekly sessions, led by a certified fitness instructor.

The workshop focuses on aerobic activity, strength exercises, flexibility, and breathing techniques that improve cardiovascular fitness, strengthen muscles, enhance joint mobility, and provide the tools needed to train safely and effectively.

Physical Activity Workshop for Individuals with Overweight

Leumit's physical activity workshop is designed for Leumit customers with a BMI of 27 and above, as well as customers diagnosed with pre-diabetes.

The workshop includes 10 biweekly sessions, led by a certified fitness instructor.

Sessions focus on aerobic activity, strength training, flexibility, and breathing techniques that enhance cardiovascular fitness, strengthen muscles, improve joint mobility, and provide tools for safe and effective exercise.
