Reimbursement for Emergency Dental Care Outside of Working Hours

Leumit members under the age of 18 and those aged 72 and above are entitled to receive reimbursement for initial emergency dental treatments during the hours when dental clinics under the Leumit agreement are closed, provided by dentists who are not part of the Leumit network.

Receiving reimbursement for emergency dental care outside of regular working hours in the field of dental health can be a challenging endeavor. Dental emergencies, such as severe toothaches and injuries, often occur at the most inconvenient times when dental clinics are closed. Leumit members under the age of 18 and those aged 72 and above are entitled to receive reimbursement for initial emergency dental treatments during the hours when dental clinics under the Leumit agreement are closed, provided by dentists who are not part of the Leumit network.

Emergency Dental Treatment

Emergency dental care serves as a critical response to unexpected and excruciating toothaches. During the day of the emergency treatment, no other dental procedures are performed apart from immediate relief measures. The objective of emergency treatment is pain cessation, and it may involve extractions, endodontic procedures (root canals), and more.
