Dental treatments at Leumit are provided through private dental clinics that have an agreement with Leumit. You have at your disposal about 300 private dental clinics and over 60 imaging institutes nationwide.

Montoring, professionalism and responsibility

The offered dental treatment is checked twice through Leumit's dedicated monitoring center - after the treatment plan is determined, to make sure that the treatment plan provides a professional response to the medical needs, and also after the treatment is finished, to make sure that the medical treatment was carried out to the required professional standard.

Payment only at the end

Only after the approved treatment has been carried out, and after Leumit's monitoring center has determined that the treatment has been completed as required, will the actual payment be made, directly to Leumit.

Reimbursement for Emergency Dental Care Outside of Working Hours

Emergency treatment for sudden tooth pain focuses on relieving discomfort and may include extractions, abscess drainage, and other necessary procedures.

Coverage for emergency dental treatments outside the operating hours of Leumit-affiliated dental clinics is available exclusively to Leumit customers under 18 and over 72. 

You may seek emergency dental treatment from clinics that are not affiliated with Leumit and receive care from dentists who do not have an agreement with Leumit. This service is available on weekdays from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., and on Fridays and holiday eves from the start of the Sabbath/holiday until 7:00 a.m. on Sunday or the day after the holiday.

A reimbursement request must be submitted through the Leumit app, customer service representative at a medical center, or by calling the dental help call center. The following documents must be attached:

  • An invoice or receipt showing the date and time of payment, confirming that the treatment took place during hours when affiliated clinics were closed.
  • A document detailing the treatment performed, including the tooth number.
    An X-ray of the tooth, showing the condition prior to treatment.

The reimbursement will be processed based on the treatment performed, according to the price list, with the deductible deducted from the total amount.

Dental Care for people aged 72 and above

Oral and dental health directly affect overall well-being and quality of life. Leumit customers aged 72 and over are entitled to restorative dental treatments—including prosthetics, implants as a base for lower jaw dentures, partial dentures, and other treatments covered by the health basket—as well as preventive dental treatments such as extractions, root canals, and fillings. These services are available at Leumit-affiliated dental clinics with a deductible in accordance with the health basket.
